sleeping bear surf is the oldest, and first, surf shop in the midwest. after the heart breaking loss of beryl skrocki, sisters ella and anna stepped in to take the reigns of the shop. a year after that loss, we were asked out to spend a day with the sisters and skrocki family to document the shop and their relationship for DAYBREAK magazine.
